Action Sports Photography specializes in  "ACTION" sports photography.  We like to capture your athletes in action.  We are not like most sports photographers that shoot just team and individual photos, we like to capture athletes in their finest moment whether it be hitting a home run, scoring a touchdown, or breaking a record high jump.  We cover the entire game and or event.  We do tend to follow the ball, this inevitably means some players may be represented more than others when the final pictures are posted and some players may be disappointed when they see that they're not in as many pictures as their teammates. As much as we try to capture everyone's participation, this is an unavoidable fact of covering sporting events.

 Jim Started Action Sports Photography in 2000.  He also shoots professional sports for several media companies and national magazines.   Jim regularly shoots Major League Baseball, NFL, College Football,  NBA, Nascar, and  Indy.  Jim has been published in numerous newspapers through out the US, most recently Sports Illustrated, ESPN Magazine, Newsweek, Upper Deck, Donruss, Sage Collectables, Sports Travel Magazine, Golf Magazine, CBS Digital Media, HBO, New York Post, Max Sports & Fitness, Athlon Sports, Beckett, FatHead and Street & Smith.     

Jim is a full time at CBS MaxPreps as the Southwest Media Manager, responsible for Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas and New Mexico.  http://www.maxpreps.com

Karl Wright

 

 Karl joined Action Sports Photography in October of 2003.  Karl regularly shoots with Jim .   Karl regularly shoots Major League Baseball, NFL,  NBA, Nascar, and  Indy..   Karl  has been published in  Sports Illustrated, ESPN Magazine, Street & Smith and TV Guide.    Karl is a full time sports photographer.
